I just contacted VP Joe Biden with this idea and I hope to share it here as well.

To arm teachers is not a good approach, as far as I am concerned. Violence that begets even more violence is a backward approach.

My thoughts are that the "wild animal nets" that are used by folks seeking to stop a charging wild animal (how appropriate here) from charging a helpless victim or victims should be the equipment provided to our teachers, staff, etc at each and every school.

These "nets" work to stabilize a situation quickly. Then the first responders can "load em up and off they would go. Far less loss would incur!
